4. Purposes and legal bases
Responding to enquiries, preparing proposals and taking steps before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Operating and protecting the website, preventing misuse, maintaining information security and protecting legal claims — our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Meeting accounting, tax and other legal obligations — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and similar non-essential analytics or advertising technologies — your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Necessary technologies are used to keep the website secure and functional. Google Analytics and Meta advertising technologies are activated only after the relevant consent. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
7. Recipients and processors
Personal data may be accessed by authorised SIA "ZZI" personnel and providers supporting website infrastructure and hosting, enquiry handling, email, IT security and professional services and — only after the relevant consent — analytics and advertising measurement. The website currently uses Base44 infrastructure; Google Analytics and Meta advertising tools may be used where consent is given.
We may disclose data to authorities or professional advisers where required by applicable law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
8. Transfers outside the EEA
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on an applicable European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
9. Retention
Enquiry and prospective-client contact information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, pursue potential cooperation and protect legal claims. We periodically review whether this information remains necessary.
Contract, invoice and legally required records are retained for the periods required by applicable law. Cookie and analytics retention periods are described in the Cookie Policy.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have the right to request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your data, object to processing and receive portable data where applicable.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object subject to the GDPR conditions. Requests can be sent to info@zizizi.lv.
11. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or another competent EEA supervisory authority. We welcome the opportunity to address your concern directly first.
12. Automated decision-making
We do not use zizizi.lv visitor data for solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
13. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No internet transmission can, however, be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
14. Changes
We may update this policy when website functionality, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will always be available on this page.
